Carole has sewn all her life, and thirty years ago became interested in patchwork and quilting. As her interest grew slowly she mastered different techniques, and took over the spare room to house her hobby. But she didn't stop there, in 2008 when opportunities arose she opened Quilter's Quarters.
Carole now teaches sampler quilt courses and one day workshops alongside the shop.
I have also sewn for many years, in 2004 I made my first quilt for my Art GCSE at high school, I had been to several quilting shows with my Mum and had found that we shared a passion. Over the last fifteen years quilting has taken over my life, in 2007-2008 I studied at Blackpool and the Fylde College on the Art Foundation Course. In 2011 I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Embroidery and now work alongside Mum running my Long Arm quilting service.
